FBI officials have confirmed that the body found in the back seat of that 1994 Chevy Suburban is that of 7 year old Julian King, Jennifer Hudson's missing nephew. King was last seen leaving the crime scene with a black male on Friday afternoon, just moments after the bodies of Hudson's mother and brother were discovered. The boy may have seen the killer. Right now, authorities have a "person of interest" in custody. That person, William Balfour, has been identified as Julia Hudson's estranged husband. Police have been saying all along that the case is "domestic related."
Police canceled the Amber Alert at 8AM this morning after the gruesome discovery was first reported by a couple walking their dog. The dog began barking and howling erratically as he got closer to the missing Chevy Suburban. Officials later confirmed the truck was indeed the vehicle listed on the report.
A police spokesperson said Jennifer Hudson identified the body of her nephew.
