Celebrity News & Gossip has learned that Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze has just 5 weeks to live. The 55 year old heart throb has pancreatic cancer and the disease has spread to his other major organs.
For the past month, Patrick, 55, has been traveling to Stanford University's prestigious cancer center in Palo Alto for radical chemotherapy, but his doctors are no longer optimistic that the treatments will be successful.
Our prayers go out to Patrick and his wife Lisa Niemi.

I wouldn't necessarily take this at face value... a lot of the sources all link back to the National Enquirer, which as we all know isn't the most reputable publication...
Believe me I do take NE with a grain of salt. Unfortunately, Fox News and CNN both picked it up...so we could all wind up with egg on our faces. This is one where I wouldn't mind having egg on my face. I wish it isn't true. Thx TrishaLynn!
His physicians are saying otherwise. He does have the cancer, but they are very optimistic so far!

I saw Patrick on Entertainment Tonight the other day and his physicians are indeed saying that he is responding well to treatment. It looks like CNN jumped the gun on this one...they picked it up from National Enquirer.
